Synopsis

This book brings to light the stories and impacts of the PIBID and Pedagogical Residency programs on the training of Sociology teachers in Ceará. With a rich panorama of experiences and critical reflections, the work portrays how these initiatives promoted the encounter between university and school, enhancing teaching practice and bringing teaching closer to the social and cultural realities of students. Amid the uncertainties of educational policies, each story recorded here is an invitation to learn about the strategies, methodologies and resistance that helped transform teacher training in times of change. More than a simple report of good practices, this book is a vibrant testimony of how PIBID and RP became the foundations for the training of more engaged, aware and innovative teachers. The texts do not shy away from challenges – they face them head on, exploring the urgency of topics such as racial inequality, gender and the New High School. Prepare to immerse yourself in a mosaic of experiences that illuminate the path of Sociology in schools and inspire new struggles for an education that makes sense for everyone.
