Synopsis

This book is the result of the efforts of researchers affiliated with the Semi-Arid Research and Extension Network (REPES). REPES's mission goes beyond scientific production and seeks to disseminate knowledge that contributes to expanding knowledge about this region, so rich in landscapes, natural diversity, and cultural expressions.

Furthermore, the Network seeks to foster actions that materialize knowledge for the benefit of the communities that inhabit the Semi-Arid. In this sense, the International Semi-Arid Forum stands out as a privileged space for researchers and communities to meet, valuing the knowledge and practices that emerge from this unique territory.
