Synopsis

Considering how much the school contributes to making its members more kind, solidary, cooperative, kind, autonomous, empathetic, emotionally stable and tolerant people should increasingly be a criterion for the efficiency of education and the school and not just the metric of how many students annually pass the National High School Examination (Enem) tests and entrance exams or other evaluation proposals that rank students and schools.

Author Biography

José Reginaldo Feijão Parente, Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú

Psychologist. Professor in higher education for over 25 years. Master in Management. Doctor of Education and also has a second doctorate in Psychology. Professor of the Pedagogy course at the Vale do Acaraú State University (UVA). He worked in the area of Health Education collaborating with the School of Public Health Visconde de Saboia (ESPVS) for about 15 years. He coordinates the Laboratory of Neuro Education, Learning and Human Development (LNEADH). UVA Sectorial Ombudsman. Among other activities already carried out, the following stand out: Member of the Scientific Commission of the Secretary of Health of Sobral; he was coordinator of the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Family Health; held the positions of Director of the Center for Education, Philosophy and Letters (CENFLE); he was Deputy Dean of Extension; he was in charge of the Coordination of the Pedagogy course; tutored the Tutorial Education Program (PET). He has numerous scientific articles published in national journals in the field of education and health.
