Author Biographies

Bartira Araújo da Silva Viana, Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI)

PhD in Geography from IGC/UFMG and Master in Development and Environment from (TROPEN/UFPI). Specialist in Research for Geography Teaching and Bachelor in Geography from UFPI. Currently, she is a full professor in the Coordination of the Geography Program at UFPI. Coordinator (2021-2025) and permanent professor of the Master's Program in Geography (PPGGEO/UFPI).

Claudia do Carmo Rosa, Universidade Estadual de Goiás (UEG)

Post-doctorate in Geography (UFG). Master's and PhD in Geography (UFG). Specialist in Teaching and Research in Brazilian Geography (UFG). Bachelor's degree in Geography and Pedagogy (UEG). Full professor of Pedagogy and Psychology at the State University of Goiás – Inhumas University Unit.

Lucineide Mendes Pires , Universidade Estadual de Goiás (UEG)

Post-doctorate in Geography (UFG); PhD in Geography (UFG); Master's in Geography (UFG); Bachelor's in Geography (UEG). She was a collaborating professor in the Graduate Program in Geography at the Institute of Socio-Environmental Studies (IESA) at UFG. Full professor in the Geography Program at the State University of Goiás (UEG) – South Campus: Morrinhos Headquarters.

Mugiany Oliveira Brito Portela, Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI)

Graduated in Geography from the State University of Piauí (2000), with a Master's degree in Development and Environment from the Federal University of Piauí (2005) and a PhD in Geography from the Federal University of Goiás. She is currently a professor of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Geography programs at UFPI.
